Learning Support Assistant

Description

Supply Star Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a School in Nuneaton who require a Teaching Assistant to join their school ASAP.

You will initially be required to work through Supply Star Recruitment on a probationary period, however on successful completion of this period you will be offered a permanent contract.

The school specifically support learners aged between 3 – 19 all with a statement of special needs. They support children and young people with Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties, Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities, Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs and Autism.

The school is inclusive with a team of staff who have the specialist knowledge and skills to meet the needs of the students. The school is classed as a 'broad-spectrum generic' SEN school and includes students who have a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities: however all students must have a learning difficulty as their main barrier to learning.

You must have a clear DBS certificate to be considered for this role. If you do not have one Supply Star Recruitment can support you in obtaining one at a cost of £50.
