Learning Support Assistant

Alton | Start Date: September or October 2025

Full-time | Temporary (possibility of permanent)

Are you a caring and driven individual who’s passionate about helping children reach their potential? We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive primary school based in Alton for a temp to perm position.

Hourly rate: £13.75.

Vetting checks will be required prior to interview process.

Your Role Will Include:

Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom

Working one-to-one and in small groups to provide tailored support

Helping to create a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Encouraging children to be confident, resilient learners with high expectations

Celebrating successes and helping children believe in themselves

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children in a primary school setting

Is committed, enthusiastic, and nurturing

Is a team player with excellent communication skills

Has experience with primary children in a school-based setting

Has a passion for education and the well-being of children

Is confidence in basic Maths and English
