Position: Learning Support Assistant – Sports Background

Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to support students in school settings. This versatile role involves providing 1:1 and small group support, ensuring that each student receives the attention and encouragement they need to thrive. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse age range, from primary to secondary school students, adapting your approach to meet their varying needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide academic support in lessons across all subjects. Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, helping them to engage and progress in their learning.Support classroom activities, working closely with teachers to enhance the educational experience.Encourage and motivate students, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.Help plan and organise sports events, activities, and projects.Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary.Collaborate with staff to ensure the well–being and safety of all students during activities.Requirements:

A passion for sports and working with young people.Ability to engage and motivate students of different ages and abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Flexibility and adaptability to work across various age ranges and settings.A proactive and positive attitude, with a commitment to making a difference.Relevant qualifications or training in sports, education, or child development is an advantage.Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply.
