The Role – Learning Mentor

A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in the London Borough of Greenwich is seeking a full-time Learning Mentor to join their pastoral support team from September 2025. The role focuses on supporting students in Key Stages 3 and 4, particularly those who are disengaged or facing emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing one-to-one and small group behaviour mentoring

Encouraging and motivating students to engage positively with learning

*

Supporting pupils both inside and outside of lessons

*

Promoting resilience, confidence, and emotional wellbeing

*

Working collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
