Learning Mentor required – With a passion for education
Are you a strong role model with a calm and confident presence?
Do you have a passion for supporting young people in overcoming barriers to learning?
Are you ready for a full-time opportunity where you can make a difference?
If you answered yes to the above, this Learning Mentor role in Merton could be your next opportunity!
The Role – Learning Mentor
I am working with a mainstream secondary school in Merton that is seeking a Learning Mentor to join their pastoral support team this September. The ideal candidate will work closely with students across KS3 and KS4, providing behaviour mentoring, emotional support, and academic encouragement. You will support learners both inside and outside of the classroom, helping to build confidence, resilience, and engagement with education.
While experience is desirable, the school is open to confident, motivated individuals with the right mindset and commitment to student wellbeing.
The School – Learning Mentor
This is a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in the London Borough of Merton, catering to over 1,000 students aged 11–18. The school promotes a culture of respect, responsibility, and reflection. With a dedicated staff team and strong pastoral support, they aim to create a safe and nurturing learning environment for all pupils.
