Forever Teaching is seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor to join a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school. This role is focused on working with Pupil Premium students—supporting them both in and out of the classroom to help close learning gaps, raise aspirations, and encourage full engagement in school life.

Role Overview:

As a Learning Mentor, you will:

* Provide 1:1 and small group academic support, focusing on core subjects and literacy/numeracy skills.

* Help pupils overcome barriers to learning, boosting confidence and motivation.

* Support engagement in lessons and enrichment activities.

* Collaborate with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and parents/carers to ensure consistent progress.

* Act as a positive role model, promoting resilience and a growth mindset.

What We’re Looking For:

* Previous experience supporting young people in a school or youth work setting (desirable).

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.

* Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

* A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for disadvantaged students.
