KS2 Teacher – Near Towcester, Northamptonshire

Full–time Temporary Contract MPS November 2025 Start

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a friendly, small primary school near Towcester, starting after the October half term. This is a full–time, temporary position to cover a planned absence, working with a mixed–year group class.

The school has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted, with a strong sense of community and supportive leadership. This role offers the chance to work in a nurturing environment where every pupil is known and valued.

Key Information:

Start date: Monday 3rd November 2025 (after half term)

Contract: Full–time, temporary (duration to be confirmed)

Location: Rural setting near Towcester, Northamptonshire

Class: Mixed–age Key Stage 2

Salary: Main Pay Scale (M3–M6)

QTS and previous KS2 teaching experience required

Not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)

Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Brings proven experience in KS2 and confidence teaching mixed–year groups

Demonstrates excellent classroom management and planning skills

Can build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families

Embraces the values and community spirit of a small school environment
