We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 Teacher for a wonderful 2–form entry school in Waltham Forest, starting in September 2025. This is a full–time, permanent position. Interviews will be held as soon as possible.

KS1 Teacher Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic and engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to enjoy learning. Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback and setting clear targets for development. Foster the development of critical thinking skills, independence, and creativity. Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver a cohesive and effective curriculum. Build strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child s progress and well–being. Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school activities as required. KS1 Teacher Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (preferably Year 2). Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods. Passion for creating an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A flexible, team–oriented approach to teaching. Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining high standards of teaching.
