KS2 Class Teacher – Year 4 (Maternity Cover)

Location: North Leeds

Start Date: October Half Term 2025

Contract Type: Full–time, Maternity Cover

Salary: MPS/UPS, depending on experience

An inclusive and forward–thinking primary school in North Leeds is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 4 Class Teacher to join their KS2 team from October half term 2025 to cover maternity leave.

They are proud of their well–behaved, motivated pupils and supportive, welcoming staff team. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong behaviour management and a passion for delivering high–quality learning experiences that support all children to thrive.

The ideal candidate will:

Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 4)

Show excellent behaviour management skills

Have experience supporting pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL)

Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners

Be committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment
