Are you a nurturing, enthusiastic, and committed individual with a passion for supporting children in their early learning journey? A warm and welcoming primary school in Enfield is seeking a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join their team this September on a part-time, term-time basis.

About the Role

In this vital support role, you’ll work closely with class teachers to deliver targeted boosters and interventions, assist pupils with special educational needs, and help create a positive, engaging environment for young learners. Your presence will make a genuine impact on pupils' confidence and academic progress during these crucial early years.

Key Responsibilities

• Support learning across Key Stage 1, working 1:1 or in small groups

• Deliver intervention and booster activities tailored to individual needs

• Assist children with SEN, adapting resources and approaches where needed

• Encourage social development and emotional wellbeing

• Collaborate with teaching staff and SENCO to track pupil progress

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a Key Stage 1 or primary classroom setting

• A patient, empathetic, and encouraging approach

• Passion for inclusive education and child development

• Excellent communication skills and adaptability

• Understanding of SEN support strategies is desirable
