HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) - Supply Work in Gravesend

Location: Gravesend, Kent

Type: Supply (with potential for ongoing work)

Hours: 08:30am - 3:30pm

Academics are seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA to work on a supply basis in primary schools across Gravesend. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to make a real impact in the classroom while enjoying the flexibility of supply work.

Deliver planned lessons and learning activities in the absence of the class teacher

Support pupils with varying needs, helping them to engage and progress

Lead small group work and targeted interventions

Assist with classroom management and behaviour support

Work closely with teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environmentWhat we're looking for:

HLTA qualification or equivalent experience

Confidence delivering lessons and supporting learning across primary year groups

Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
