Contract Type: Full–time, Term–time only

Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications (GBP100 – GBP120 daily)

Are you a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic school environment? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join our supportive team in a thriving primary school in the heart of Tameside.

About the Role: As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will:

Deliver high–quality learning activities to groups and individuals across various subjects.

Work closely with class teachers to plan, deliver and assess targeted interventions.

Provide classroom cover when needed, including PPA sessions and short–term absences.

Support pupils with a wide range of abilities, including those with additional needs.

What We re Looking For: We are looking for a confident and proactive HLTA who:

Holds HLTA status or an equivalent relevant qualification.

Has previous experience working in a school setting, ideally across all Key Stages.

Is able to deliver lessons and interventions with creativity and impact.

Demonstrates strong communication, teamwork and behaviour management skills.

Has a genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
