The successful candidate will:

Lead the strategic development of the English curriculum from Reception to Year 8.Deliver engaging and challenging lessons from Years 4 to 8, including preparation for Common Entrance and Scholarship examinations.Inspire pupils to develop confidence, creativity, and critical thinking through a love of literature and language.Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning across the department.Contribute fully to the school's vibrant extra–curricular programme.We are looking for someone who:

Has previous teaching experience in a Preparatory or Secondary school or Leading English across KS2.Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a track record of excellent classroom practice.Has leadership experience or clear potential to lead and develop a department.Is highly organised, committed, and reflective.Embraces the opportunity to get involved in the wider life of a busy and spirited prep school.Why join this school?
