An excellent secondary school in Islington is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team for the new academic year!

Role Details:

Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant (Maths, Science or English)

Location: Islington, North London

Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only

Role Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support in your subject area

Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation and delivery

Support students needing additional academic help

Help maintain a positive, focused learning environment

Gain valuable classroom experience to support a future PGCE or teacher training application

Requirements:

A degree in Maths, Science, English, or a related subject

A genuine interest in education and working with young people

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn

Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
