Salary: £101.40 per day

Start Date: September 2025

Are you a recent graduate looking to take your first step into the education field? Do you want to gain hands-on experience in a primary school while making a real difference to young learners?

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity through our Graduate Scheme, aimed at graduates who have recently completed their degree and are interested in pursuing a career in education.

About the Role:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support learning across the classroom. You’ll gain valuable experience supporting children’s development and learning daily, while building key skills that will benefit you in any future career in education – including teacher training routes.

This is a great stepping stone for those considering a PGCE or other teacher training qualifications.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting the class teacher in day-to-day classroom activities

Working with small groups of children or providing 1:1 support

Helping with learning interventions across subjects like phonics, reading, and maths

Encouraging pupils’ engagement, confidence, and participation

Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

Who We’re Looking For:

Recent graduate (any subject considered) with a passion for working with children

Proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic

A genuine interest in education and supporting young learners

Previous experience working with children (e.g., volunteering, tutoring, placements) is a bonus, but not essential

Why Join Us?

Part of a growing Graduate Scheme in the L5 area, with multiple opportunities across schools

Excellent experience for future teacher training

Supportive school environments and ongoing professional development

Competitive daily rate of £101.40
