A lovely secondary school in the Durham area is seeking an outstanding teacher to cover General Science classes for at least one term starting in September 2025 and will be full time and ongoing.

The ideal General Science Teacher candidate would have the following requirements:

Have a passion teaching Science Have excellent subject knowledge Be able to organise themselves Be able to engage with pupils in a proactive way To apply for this General Science Teacher position with Premier Teachers you must hold QTS or QTLS. We are keen to hear from both experienced teachers as well as ECTs.

In addition, you must:

• Provide two referees we can contact

• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one

Please note that the rate of pay will be dependent on where you are on the National Teacher Pay scales and the level of experience that you have to date.
