Remedy is a specialist recruitment agency helping educators find roles in schools across London. We are currently seeking a Food Technology Teacher for a long–term, full–time position in East London.
Job Overview:
As a Food Technology Teacher, you'll help students explore the fundamentals of food preparation, nutrition, and safety. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess progress, and collaborate with colleagues. The ideal Food Technology Teacher will hold a PGCE and QTS or QTLS. NQTs and those with equivalent qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging Food Technology Teacher lessons.
Teach students about nutrition, cooking techniques, and food safety.
Monitor and assess student progress in food technology.
Work with other Food Technology Teachers.
Participate in school events and activities related to food.
Requirements:
QTS or QTLS certification.
PGCE or equivalent qualification.
Passion for teaching food technology.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
