The Education Specialists (TES) are proud to be working in partnership with a number of vibrant nursery settings and primary schools across Salford, and we’re currently on the lookout for enthusiastic and nurturing Nursery Teaching Assistants to join our team.

Whether you're looking for day-to-day cover, short-term placements, or longer-term roles, we have fantastic opportunities available within Early Years and Nursery environments.

About the Role:

As a Nursery TA, you’ll play a key role in supporting young children during one of the most important stages of their development. We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about early learning and thrive in a play-based, caring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher and nursery staff in delivering engaging, EYFS-based activities

*

Help create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating space for children to learn and grow

*

Assist with daily routines, including snack time, toileting, and outdoor play

*

Offer one-to-one or small group support, including for children with additional needs

*

Observe and record children’s progress as directed

*

Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and staff

What We’re Looking For:

*

Experience in a nursery or early years setting (paid or voluntary)

*

A relevant childcare qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Early Years or Teaching & Learning) – desirable but not essential

*

A caring, patient, and proactive attitude

*

Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

*

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

*

Right to work in the UK
