EYFS Specialist – Didcot

Simply Education is delighted to be working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Didcot that is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Specialist to join their Early Years team. This exciting opportunity is perfect for someone who thrives in a nurturing, play–based environment and is eager to help young children take their first steps in education. The school is offering flexible working arrangements, with both part–time (as little as 0.2) and full–time contracts available depending on your availability.

What We're Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through a PGCE, GTP, or Bachelor of Education, or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a special interest in Early Years.

Have experience teaching within the EYFS framework, ideally in Nursery or Reception.

Be confident in planning, delivering, and assessing child–led and adult–led activities in line with EYFS guidelines.

Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where children can thrive emotionally and academically.

Demonstrate strong communication skills, effective behaviour management, and a warm, caring approach.

Be enthusiastic about supporting young children's social, emotional, and educational development.

Please note: All candidates will be required to provide two years of references and undergo an enhanced DBS check. The role is subject to satisfactory background screening.
