Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking to represent an experienced SEMH teacher who specialises in teaching English for a permanent teaching job in Loughborough, Leicester, LE12 3GP. If you are a SEND (SEMH) specialist who is available from either September or October 2025, we would be keen to speak with you.

If you are an experienced English teacher who has worked with SEND (SEMH) across either primary or secondary phases this role may be for you. The role is offered as a permanent, full–time post based at a small, alternative provision school with places for up to 36 students. Typically, the site caters for pupils aged 7–17 with SEND requirements such as SEMH and Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. A tour of the site and an informal meeting with the Regional Executive Director can be arranged.

This site is part of a national trust who are focussed on supporting children with complex behaviours and needs. Their pupils have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences, and they work closely with them to develop self–belief to become effective learners. In order to be successfully shortlisted in any of your applications with us we will require the following:

A relevant UK based teaching and/or leadership qualification.

Substantial experience working with pupils with SEND within an education setting.

All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.

Exceptional references.

Once shortlisted, a one–to–one interview will be scheduled with your dedicated consultant to discuss your experience and personal requirements. You will be provided with advice and guidance in relation to your requirements that respect your home and work life balance. You will work solely with your consultant throughout your registration journey and beyond, always having direct access to speak with them on a one–to–one basis.

Proposed start date: September 2025 or October 2025

Salary: Typically ranges from GBP35,000 to GBP45,000 (negotiable)
