Location: Islington, North London

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 per annum

Aspire People is delighted to be working with a high-achieving secondary school in Islington, who are looking for an enthusiastic and committed English Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated graduate who is passionate about supporting young learners, developing teaching skills, and making a real impact on student progress.

The Role - English Graduate Learning Support Assistant

As an English Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will:

* Work closely with the English department to support Key Stage 3 and 4 students

* Contribute to the delivery of engaging English lessons and targeted literacy programmes

* Provide focused 1:1 and small group support to students who require additional help in reading and writing

* Assist with lesson planning and preparation while promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment

* Take part in extracurricular and enrichment activities to further support student development

What We're Looking For

* A degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related subject (2:1 or higher essential)

* A genuine interest in education and working with young people

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

* A proactive, supportive, and positive approach to learning support

* Previous experience with young people is an advantage, though not essential
