We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming nursery/pre-school in Maldon who are seeking a motivated and caring Early Years Practitioner to join their team.

About the Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can learn and thrive.

Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Observe, record, and assess children’s progress, feeding into planning for next steps in development.

Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all children at all times.

Contribute to the overall running of the nursery/pre-school, working collaboratively with the wider team.

Qualifications & Requirements

A minimum of Level 2 qualification in Early Years (Level 3 preferred).

Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.

A genuine passion for working with children and helping them to reach their full potential.

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Location & Accessibility

The nursery is based in Maldon, with excellent public transport links nearby. For those who drive, free parking is available on-site.
