The role:

As a DT Technician on supply, you'll be supporting Design & Technology departments by:

Preparing, maintaining, and organising materials, tools, and equipment

Assisting with lesson setup and practical demonstrations

Ensuring health and safety standards are met in workshops and classrooms

Supporting students and staff during practical lessons when needed

Carrying out routine maintenance and stock control

What we're looking for:

Experience as a DT Technician or in a similar workshop–based role

Good understanding of health and safety procedures in a school or workshop setting

Practical knowledge of tools, machinery, and materials used in DT (e.g., woodwork, metalwork, electronics, etc.)

A proactive, organised, and safety–conscious approach

A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Eligibility to work in the UK
