We are seeking an innovative and skilled Design & Technology Teacher specialising in Resistant Materials for a permanent, full–time role starting in September at an 'Outstanding' mixed school in Camden. The ideal candidate will inspire creativity and practical skills, enabling students to design and create with confidence.

What you'll be doing:

You'll be designing and delivering engaging D&T Resistant Materials lessons, covering various techniques, tools, and materials. It's about fostering creativity, problem–solving skills, and practical application, allowing students to design and build. You'll contribute to a stimulating and safe workshop environment where students can experiment and develop their technical proficiency. What we're looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Design & Technology (Resistant Materials). Experience teaching engaging and effective D&T Resistant Materials lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable. Strong practical skills and a deep understanding of materials, processes, and design principles. Excellent communication skills, strong classroom and workshop management, and a genuine passion for inspiring future designers and engineers. Why join this school?
