An innovative and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher is required to join a well–regarded Independent school in Islington for a permanent position commencing in September. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11–16) to develop their creativity, problem–solving skills, and practical abilities through design and technology projects.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Design and Technology Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Develop students' skills in designing, making, and evaluating products using a range of materials and technologies. Foster a stimulating and safe workshop environment that encourages experimentation and innovation. Assess and monitor student progress in Design and Technology, providing constructive feedback to support their development as designers and makers. Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design and Technology or a closely related subject. Demonstrated experience teaching Design and Technology Teacher lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4. A strong understanding of design principles, manufacturing processes, and relevant technologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with students and colleagues. Benefits
