Are you a recent creative graduate looking to kickstart your career in education? We are seeking enthusiastic and imaginative individuals to join our Graduate Programme as Creative Graduates, with a pathway to train as a Cover Supervisor in Secondary Schools across Sunderland.

About the Role
As a Creative Graduate, you’ll begin by supporting students in a Learning Support Assistant capacity and progress with training into a Cover Supervisor role—delivering lessons and supporting pupils when teachers are unavailable.
This opportunity is perfect for those passionate about creative subjects and wanting to build meaningful experience working with young people before entering teacher training or education careers.

Key Responsibilities:
Support learners one-to-one and in small groups
Promote creativity, inclusion, and positive behaviour in class
Assist with planning and delivering creative learning activities
Step into a Cover Supervisor role once trained, delivering pre-set lessons
Adapt resources and approaches to meet individual learner needs
Who We're Looking For:
A graduate with a 2:2 or above in any discipline
Interest or background in creative fields (e.g. Music, Drama, Sport, Art, Psychology)
Excellent communication skills and a passion for inspiring young people
A positive, flexible mindset and eagerness to learn
