Location: Secondary Schools across Tameside

Salary: 140 – 200 per day (dependent on experience)

Contract Type: Flexible (day–to–day and short–term supply)

Aspire People are currently recruiting on behalf of a number of well–regarded secondary schools across the Tameside area who require qualified and experienced Supply Cover Teachers to support their teams with short–term and day–to–day cover.

About the Role:

As a Supply Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre–prepared lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the regular class teacher. Your role will include managing classroom behaviour, ensuring continuity of learning, and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.

No planning or marking is required, making this an ideal opportunity for those looking to maintain a work–life balance while still making a valuable impact in the classroom.

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

– Recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools

– Confidence covering multiple subjects across Key Stage 3 and 4

– Strong classroom management skills

– Professionalism, reliability, and a flexible approach
