Cover Supervisors - Essex (Basildon & Surrounding Areas)
Start Date: September 2025
We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to help meet cover needs across secondary schools in Essex, particularly in and around Basildon.
This is a flexible role, ideal for those looking to work around their existing commitments. You can choose the days that suit your schedule.
Role Details:
Hours: 8:25 am - 3:30 pm (on working days)
Start Date: September 2025
Location: Secondary schools across Essex, with a focus on Basildon
Duties: Supervising classes, ensuring students remain on task, and delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
Requirements:
Confidence in managing a classroom
Good communication skills
Ability to adapt to different subjects and year groups
Previous school experience is desirable but not essential
