Location: Corby

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Full–Time Long–Term / Permanent

Salary: Competitive hourly/daily rates (dependent on experience)

We are recruiting Cover Supervisors for several secondary schools in Corby to join their teams from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely within schools, supporting teachers and ensuring students continue learning smoothly.

Role Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes during teacher absences, ensuring students stay engaged and complete tasks using pre–prepared lesson plans and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage student behaviour across a variety of subjects (KS3 and KS4)

Deliver pre–set lesson content, ensuring students follow instructions and remain on task

Support students with their learning where appropriate, fostering a positive classroom atmosphere

Report any issues, concerns, or progress updates to teaching staff promptly

Assist with school routines including break and corridor supervision as required

Be a dependable and consistent presence within the school community

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or school environment

Confident and calm approach to managing classroom behaviour with authority and respect

Ability to follow lesson plans and give clear, concise instructions to students

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a school team

Flexible and adaptable to the dynamic demands of a school setting
