A day in the life

* Collect the plan, own the room. The lesson is written; you bring it to life.

* Hold the line. Spot wandering minds at twenty paces and reel them back in—calmly and fairly.

* Guide, don’t lecture. Answer questions, nudge thinking, then watch the penny drop.

* Log the essentials. Take the register, note achievements (or antics) and hand the intel to staff.

* Repeat—with new faces. One period it’s Macbeth, the next it’s mitochondria. Variety comes as standard.

What you’ll bring

* A degree in any subject (your academic anchor).

* Solid experience with young people—school, coaching, tutoring or youth work counts.

* Behaviour-management confidence: firm, consistent, and hard to faze.

* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or you’re happy for us to arrange one).

* Clear, professional communication and the poise to step in at short notice.
