Cover Supervisor/Teaching Assistant Needed in Oldham

We’re looking for someone to join our team at a Secondary School in Oldham as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant. This is a long-term role where you can really make a difference to students’ lives while growing your own skills in education. If you’re someone who enjoys working with young people and wants a job that’s both challenging and rewarding, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:

* Keeping the classroom calm and focused.

* Following school rules to manage student behaviour.

* Teaching lessons using plans left by the regular teacher.

* Helping students who need a bit of extra support.

* Taking the register and letting the office know about absences.

* Watching over students during breaks or lunch.

* Being flexible to work with different subjects and age groups.

* Keeping student information private.

* Knowing what to do in emergencies, like fire drills.

Who we’re looking for:

* Someone who cares about helping kids learn.

* Good at talking to people and staying calm under pressure.

* Ready to jump into different classrooms and subjects.

* Any experience in schools is great, but it’s not a must.

* Committed to keeping students safe and happy.
