Are you passionate about education and looking to gain valuable experience in secondary schools? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to work on a supply basis at a secondary school in Cardiff.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising pre-set lessons across a range of subjects. You will manage the classroom environment, support students with their learning, and ensure the school's policies and procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to secondary-age students

Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students stay on task

Provide assistance to students where needed to support their understanding

Liaise with teaching staff and senior leaders as required

Maintain a positive and safe learning environment

Requirements:

Previous experience working with young people (e.g., in education, coaching, youth work, etc.)

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Adaptability and a proactive approach

A commitment to supporting students education and well-being

A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new DBS

Right to work in the UK
