About the Computer Science Teacher Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join our high–achieving Computing department. The successful Computer Science Teacher will have the opportunity to teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with engaging lessons and cutting–edge technology.

Responsibilities of the Computer Science Teacher:

Plan and deliver high–quality Computer Science lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities. Create a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel confident to explore Computer Science concepts and develop their computational thinking skills. Assess and monitor student progress in Computer Science, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the Computer Science curriculum and departmental resources. Stay up–to–date with the latest advancements in Computer Science and incorporate new technologies into the classroom. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Computer Science teaching. Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Computer Science or a related field. Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level. A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Computer Science. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. A passion for Computer Science and a commitment to inspiring students. Benefits:
