College Community Support Officer Ref: BRTN8354

Salary: Pro rata of GBP26,716 to GBP29,196 per annum (i.e. GBP22,194 – GBP24,255)

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, 36 weeks per year

We are looking to recruit an exceptional candidate for this high–profile role. You will be an integral member of the College Wellbeing Team working alongside our Nurses, Counsellors and Support staff to ensure all our learners have the opportunity to experience our Outstanding college in a safe and secure environment.

We are looking for a charismatic, determined and confident person who has the ability and skills to engage hard to reach groups and disengaged learners as well as to develop and co–ordinate activities that promote social cohesion and integration.

You will need to demonstrate experience of working within a Community Safety, Integration/Cohesion background as well as working with a range of diverse community–based groups and young people.
