The Role – Behaviour TA
We are looking for a resilient Behaviour Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a KS3 pupil in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Islington. The pupil has Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and may present challenging behaviour. Your role will be to provide emotional support, help them stay engaged with learning, and manage behaviour in and out of the classroom. Experience in a PRU or similar setting is essential.
The School – Behaviour TA
This PRU in Islington supports students who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream school. The school takes a therapeutic approach and focuses on emotional wellbeing, structure, and tailored learning. Staff are well-supported, and the leadership team prioritises training, safety, and staff wellbeing. You’ll be part of a dedicated team making a real difference to young lives.
