Description
A well–respected secondary school in Ealing is seeking a reliable and proactive Attendance Officer to join their pastoral team. This Attendance Officer position in Ealing is a great opportunity for a graduate with excellent organisational skills and an interest in student welfare or education support.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor daily student attendance and follow up on unexplained absencesContact parents and carers via phone, text or email to promote good attendanceCollaborate with form tutors, heads of year, and safeguarding leadsMaintain accurate records using the school's MIS systemSupport the development of attendance improvement strategies
Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skillsAn eye for detail and the ability to manage sensitive informationA calm, professional and empathetic approachExperience in a school or youth–focused setting is desirable
