Contract Type: Full–time, Long–term (Temp to Perm)

Salary: 170 – 250 per day (depending on experience)

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm

Brief description:

Teach Art, Design and Technology to KS3/KS4 students in an alternative provision setting

About the school:

A specialist alternative provision supporting students aged 11–16 with SEMH needs and those unable to thrive in mainstream schools. Focus on practical, creative learning and small group teaching.

About the role:

Deliver creative and hands–on lessons in Art & Design and/or Technology. Engage students through project–based learning, promoting self–expression and skill development.

We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:

Teach Art, Design and/or Technology across KS3 and KS4Develop practical, accessible lessons to suit diverse learnersFoster creativity and confidence through personalised supportWork effectively with support staff and pastoral teamsRequirements –

The ideal candidate would have:

QTS, QTLS, or relevant teaching qualificationExperience teaching Art, DT, or a creative subject at secondary levelUnderstanding of SEMH needs or experience in alternative provision (desirable)Creative, flexible, and inclusive teaching approachStrong classroom and behaviour management skillsOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted
