1:1 Teaching Assistant - SEN Support

Mainstream Primary | EYFS - KS2 | Northampton | Full-Time

Simply Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Northampton who are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN needs across EYFS to KS2.

The role involves working closely with individual pupils who require extra support, either due to learning difficulties, social and emotional needs, or EHCP requirements. You'll play a key part in helping them access the curriculum and feel supported in school.

The Role:

Providing 1:1 support for a child with SEN in the classroom

Supporting learning, social skills, and behaviour as needed

Helping deliver tailored strategies alongside the SENCO and teacher

Working across different key stages, depending on the pupil's need

About You:

Experience working with children with additional needs (SEN)

Patient, understanding, and adaptable

A strong communicator and team player

Committed to making a positive impact in the classroom
