This is a charming Hammersley “Victorian Violets” tea set from the England’s Countryside series, including two trios (cup, saucer, side plate) plus the matching cake plate. Hammersley was an English maker of fine bone china, later taken over by Royal Worcester, and their floral designs are now popular with collectors. The “Victorian Violets” pattern shows purple violets with gold trim, a classic English tea set style. This set is in good condition with no cracks, only light signs of age. Perfect for afternoon tea or to complete a collection.
