Vintage FM Synthesizer from the 80's with cartridge (essential for use),manual and new battery. Great condition.

The DX7s has more memory than the standard DX7, allowing for more voices and function parameters to be stored.

RAM Cartridges:
The DX7s provides two ways of formatting RAM cartridges: the standard Yamaha format or a special GMR format which makes the storage of both voices and function parameters on a single RAM cartridge possible.

GMR Format:
A GMR-formatted cartridge will only play back on an E!- equipped DX7.

VRC Cartridges:
Yamaha sold a small set of cartridges specifically made for the DX7s: the VRC01S, VRC02S and VRC03S.
