Description
Front wheel drive model with a manual box so the fun one to have and the lightest of this generation, around 630kg. This is the later DOHC K6A engine with timing chain.
Came in from Japan middle of last year(Grade 3.5), it was put through MOT in November and i bought it straight after. MOT runs out November 25.
Just under 120k kms on the clock, Car VX report from Japan here to confirm genuine miles and condition on export.
Have only done the odd run out and car show this year, the main one being a 400 mile blast round the Inishowen peninsula where it performed flawlessly. Ice cold air con was a life saver! In total less than 1000 miles since imported.
I'm the first UK owner. I trailered it home and took it off the road as didn't want to drive it over winter with how easy JDM cars of this era rust.
Added my own touches, cleaned up a few bits and Lanoguarded everywhere underneath including cavity wax and put the car back on the road in April this year.
Car came with alcantara dash, Yellowspeed YSS coilovers and a stainless exhaust and I have since added the following:
Cusco handling kit(front upper strut brace and rear adjustable underbody brace)
Upper rear strut brace
HKS induction kit
Momo Prototipo steering wheel
14" Work Equip 07 alloys(took ages to find in Japan) with Work wheel nuts and valve caps
4 x new Yokohama tyres
Led side indicators
Full service including plugs, leads, fresh Millers Nanodrive 5w-40 oil, filters, thermostat, fan belt, coolant flush, rocker gasket(all genuine parts where still available)
All new fast road/track discs and pads front and rear and fresh Motul RBF660 fluid.
JDM solar powered nodding cat
All of the above was sourced in Japan and shipped over, and a number of items on the car were bought be me personally in Japan when I was over there.
Great wee Kei car and gets plenty of attention as there aren't many about. Great on fuel as well!
Expect a few wee scuffs and marks around the body with it being 30years old but overall decent condition and no rust at all. One door handle is colour coded, the other one is black, I actually never noticed when I first got it.
UUI registration has now been removed and it is back on its original UXZ reg
I'm looking for £6295ono, or £5395 if I keep the Work wheels and put it back on the 13" wheels it came on(photo attached)
