Description
Astell and Kern's flagship player incorporates the audio technologies and the very highest quality components to present even the most demanding audiophiles with stunning sound in a portable device. The Astell and Kern SP3000 is the world's first portable music player with independent dual audio circuitry and a DAC structure in hexa-audio design. For complete separation of digital and analogue signal processing, Astell and Kern used the flagship AKM4499EX DAC chip from Asahi Kasei Microdevices. Astell and Kern worked with DAC manufacturer AKM from the earliest stages of development to perfect the DAC and circuit structure for the SP3000. The innovative hexa-audio circuit design with four AK4499EX DACs plus two separate AK4191EQs DACs generate uniquely pure sound. The advanced design with six DAC chips blatantly reduces the noise of the digital signal input and achieves an impressive signal-to-noise ratio of 130 dB, resulting in an incredible sound experience that has never been heard before. The operating system of the SP3000 is based on Android and supports the use of streaming services such as Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify or Apple Music. This means that the huge selection of music from streaming services can be listened to directly on the Astell and Kern SP3000 via WiFi. The user interface developed for the SP3000 focuses on ease of use and makes playing and searching for music a pure pleasure. The cabinet is made of exclusive 904L stainless steel, making the SP3000 a fine luxury item. 904L stainless steel has uncompromising beauty and extra durability and corrosion resistance for long-lasting enjoyment of the wonderful SP3000 sound.
