Description
I bought these direct from Matamp. Apparently they were part of an experiment to produce a modular passive PA system comprising of small 1x12 units which could be put together in different formats to suit different gigs.
The speakers themselves are 100W dual driver celestions. The “whizzer cones” have really good high frequency dispersion.
Although these are 100W the cabs are built in a certain way to make them extremely efficient so they sound louder than you would expect. I’ve only used them for some light sound reinforcement so they have never been pushed.
Passive crossovers built in.
Could be used for a small vocal PA or as part of a larger system, or for an install.
Asking 250 for both which is less than it costs just in parts to make these. The speaker cones themselves are about £90 each.
Open to trades for guitars/other PA bits.
