I’m a qualified sound engineer (BSc Music Technology, University of the West of Scotland) offering professional live sound services for small events, complete with all necessary equipment.

What’s included:
✅ 2x Active PA speakers (1600W total) – audience-facing
✅ Microphones & stands (vocals, instruments)
✅ Compact mixer & all cabling
✅ Professional setup & soundcheck
✅ On-site sound engineer throughout your event
You just provide mains power — I handle the rest.

Pricing (City of Edinburgh):

£100 for the first hour (includes setup & soundcheck from the agreed start time)
£50 per hour for the 2nd and 3rd hour
£25 per hour thereafter
Travel Outside Edinburgh:
£0.50 per mile (calculated one-way from the Edinburgh city boundary)

Example Costs:
2-hour event in Edinburgh: £150
4-hour event in Edinburgh: £225
2-hour event, 20 miles outside Edinburgh: £160 (£150 + £10 travel)

Booking & Payment:
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due on the day of the event upon completion.
Payments can be made by bank transfer, PayPal, or cash.

Please note:
At present, this service does not include separate on-stage monitor speakers for performers. For smaller, acoustic-style events, the front speakers can be positioned to provide some performer feedback.
