Description
On sale today is this vintage chesterfield 2 seater club sofa in a highly desirable antique Parliament green leather. The piece was purchased by its original owners in 1978 and been in the same family ever since . The seating area is fully coil sprung and is functioning as it should. This accompanied with the solid beach wood frame, means the sofa is very heavy.
As you can see from the photographs the sofa oozes character and would be a talking point of any living or business premises. The leather on the sofa is in fair vintage condition as can be seen throughout and shows general signs of wear across this stunning piece of furniture, particularly to the arm rests where cracking of the leather is evident. The cushions were reupholstered around 4 years ago in a thick supple full grain leather so compliment the sofa perfectly.
All buttons are present throughout the sofa and there are no rips. The lining underneath the cushions is fully in tact with some marks on it. The sofa benefits from having it original bun feet at the front and small turnstile feet at the back.

General Information
All of our pieces go through sympathetic restoration which includes general cleaning and feeding of the leather. We also provide advice and guidance on maintaining your piece so that it can last for years to come. Leather repairs are occasionally required but we would always advertise this has been done. We also ensure all pieces are structurally sound before being sold and offer advice on maintenance of the structure, particularly if it a vintage piece.
We have the facility to store furniture for up to 14 days. If additional time is required, please do contact us before hand with your individual request. Couriers are accepted
Collection in person or by courier is from Charfleets Industrial Estate, post code SS8 0PE
We use a trusted courier who is both reasonably priced and holds all of the correct insurances. Please contact us for a quotation if needed
