Description
Here is an ‘Old-School’ Ikea Double Very Sturdy Sofa Bed for sale. I have had it since new and it has lasted over 10 years (probably frame and construction will still last a few more years!) It is fairly heavy, hence the heavy duty and durable nature, and is very comfortable down to good thick padded cushioning plus the sofabed mattress is firm and fairly thick compared to most other sofa-beds so gives a very good supportive and comfortable sleep. The fabric has had a fair amount of wear and tear, and has faded as can be seen in photos, but all the fabric is just a cover, both on the main body and the cushions, which can be taken off by just unzipping, and then re-made by some re-upholstery company if required, or you can just get a large throw and tuck that in place, which is what I have done for last few years. It is on wheels so very easy to move around in whichever room it is placed. This is ideal for a spare bed in spare bedroom or games/utility room, and still a very comfortable sofa to sit on.
Collection only, it does not dismantle so you will need a Van (I doubt it will even fit into a large 7-seater MPV) to transport and it is heavy, as I mentioned, so you will need 2 fairly active people to transport it, I’m happy to help in loading it into a Van
Selling now as I no longer need it/it’s not used, and I much rather reclaim the space!
Selling it very cheap just to attract a quick sale.
