Support Worker

Hours per week:

Up to 4 hours per week. Saturday or Sunday, times are flexible, to be arranged.

Hourly pay rate:

£15.00

I am 17 years old and live with my parents in Rustington, Littlehampton.

I am happy, energetic, enthusiastic and like movies, music, photography and animals.

You would be required to support me with going to the cinema, parks, woodlands, crazy golf, bowling. Assistance to develop independent living skills e.g. public transport, handling money.

I will need to be kept safe and supervised at all times.

Driver with own car would be useful but not essential. Support Worker must be a non-smoker.

Duties include:

- Companionship

- Support with accessing social activities

- Support with managing money and public transport

Candidate qualities:

- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality

- Reliable with good timekeeping

- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative

- Hygienic, tidy and well organised

- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties

- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

- Honest and cheerful

- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard

- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

- Friendly

- Have some experience of working with young people with similar needs

Additional requirements

Non-smoker due to medical reasons
