Description
This is a really well made metal framed skate ramp.
Welded metal frame designed to last outdoors without maintenance. it is really well engineered and constructed from 25mm square tube in all the right places then painted with black Hammerite.
The curved metal panels are fast and smooth.
The coping is 50mm round tube welded to the frame and tacked to the curved steel sheet. It is all very hard wearing.
The ramp frame is mounted on a treated timber base which locks it together and keeps it off the ground. This wooden base is included if needed. It is screwed and glued together. It is about 5cm larger than the ramp.
The ramp is in 3 sections which join with an overlap at the flat transition. So it can be taken apart for transport.
The dimensions ramp (without the base) are:
Total length of 3 sections assembled including top deck is 503.5cm
Total width 250cm
Height 72cm / a bit under 2.5 ft
Top deck from coping to end is 48cm at each end.
Each end of the ramp is approx 184cm which includes a lap joint to the transition.
Flat transition, between curved sections, 157cm
This ramp is ideal for a home setup or for a street park. The size is great to learn on and still big enough to advance to bigger tricks.
It is big and heavy, you will need at least 4 strong people to lift each section. Access is flat and through a wide gate at the back of our property beside a road. This is about 5 mins drive from Bristol on the A370.
A car trailer or flat bed is required to transport all the parts in one go, possibly a Luton size van.
