Hours - an average of 24 hours per week between Monday to Saturday - to be discussed fully at interview. Start/Finish times may vary (shifts will be within 6am-6pm Mon-Fri and 6am-12noon Sat)

Location - Tyseley, Birmingham B11 2BA

Can also be asked to work at our Perry Barr or Kings Norton sites when needed

What will you be doing?

As a Weighbridge Operator you will ensure that all vehicles carrying waste or recyclables are weighed on entering and exiting the facility in compliance with all statutory regulations and requirements.

Act as first point of contact for any staff / customers / vehicles to resolve any issues/problems with the delivery / collection of the goods

Operate the weighbridge systems

Process all data and maintain accurate records

Provide a prompt & efficient service to clients and 3rd party haulage subcontractors

What are we looking for?

Similar administrative experience within a busy operational environment

Good IT skills

Basic knowledge & understanding of Non Hazardous and Hazardous waste compliance is desirable
