Job Opportunity / Device Migration & Refresh Technician / Argyll and Bute The Device Migration& Refresh Technician will support IT device migration and refreshactivities, ensuring the seamless transition of systems as part of a structuredproject. The technician will assist in setting up the Refresh Clinic, movingdevices, updating workflow systems, and working under the guidance of theContractor Engineer, Site Manager, and Post Migration Technical SupportSpecialist.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in migration setup , including configuring the Refresh Clinic. Transport the required quantity of devices from onsite storage to the Refresh Clinic under the instruction of the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager. Log into systems using provided devices, following guidance from project leads. Refresh laptops and ensure proper configuration before deployment. Update relevant steps in the Contractor's workflow management system accurately. Seek guidance from the Post Migration Technical Support Specialist and Site Manager as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in IT device migration, deployment, or hardware refresh projects. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow structured procedures and work under instruction. Basic technical troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Physical ability to handle IT equipment. SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain SC Clearance. #
